Once a sea, this now desert landscape offers mountain views, and a front row seat to stunning sunsets. The Dusty Paddle is a 42 acre off-the-grid campground located in the Terlingua area in West Texas.
Our campground is off-the-grid but we are ten minutes from Little Burro Country Store, where you can stock up on ice, beer, propane, other necessities and grab some WiFi. So, be sure to come prepared by bringing plenty of water, fuel and shade. We are a pack in pack out campground. While we want to make sure you bring out all of your necessary resources, please be sure to pack it out with you.

Our Campsites
We have maintained roads and camping spaces to ensure your stay is comfortable. We do ask that you keep your vehicles in these areas to keep our natural areas in great shape.
While staying with us you are welcome to hike, bike and explore the 42 acre grounds. There are a variety of rocks, fossils and plant life to check out. We even have an arroyo to explore!

We do ask that you do not take any of the fossils or rocks that you find so that others have the opportunity to see them. We do welcome our campers to bring a painted rock with your name, date, and where you are from to leave at your campsite.
